See the real profit on every job, not just the recovery.
Recovered rate tells you what you charged per hour. It says nothing about what the hour cost you to deliver.
Link splits cost into direct cost and overhead cost, giving a true total cost for every task and disbursement on a job. Set against billable value, that produces actual profit rather than recoverability. Two jobs recovering the same rate can return very different margins once the cost of the people doing the work is in the picture.
